Embroidery Guidelines
The number of colours does not affect the price of the embroidery.
The number of stitches reflects the price. The more stitches the higher the price.
Choose outline style artwork for economical embroidery.
Embroidery designs that are filled in are more expensive due to the increased number of stitches.
All logos and designs have to be digitized using a special program compatible with the embroidery equipment. Your artwork will be digitized and saved on a CD for future use. The price of digitized images saved on CD's is approximately $200.00. This fee is a one-time charge.
Fax your artwork in black & white.
Email formats: .cdr, .eps, .jpg, .gif., .bmp, .tif via the CONTACT US page.
Convert text in your artwork to curves.
Image resolution should be 300 dpi.
Artwork from web-pages is only 72 dpi, which is too low a resolution.
Choose apparel colours and material that are suitable for embroidery.
Garments that are lighter in weight and thinner are not suitable for embroidery.
Fonts (letter styles) should not have lines that are too thin or they will not show up.
